Headed to VSA in Boston? See you there!

07/19/2016

HomeBoth Lauren and I will be in Boston this week for the Visitor Studies Association conference. Woohoo!

We are co-facilitating a workshop tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20th) called “The Data Visualization and Reporting (DVR) Game,” which introduces DVR concepts through games like Pictionary, sketch noting, and PowerPoint Karaoke. It’s going to be an incredible day!

Also, I have a session at 9am on Saturday, July 23rd in the Duxbury room titled, “Beyond Surveys: Tech-Savvy Methods to Engage, Capture, and Drive Action,” where I will be presenting on some of the super-cool video methodologies ExposeYourMuseum has used in projects over the past 5 years.

Are you going to be in Boston for the conference?
I’d love to see you!

Are you presenting and having last minute jitters about your slide deck? There’s help!
From 4:30-6pm tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20th) in the Dedham room the DVR Focused Interest Group (FIG) is hosting a slide clinic where slide “coaches” will spend some time with you to make sure your slides are clean, clear, and gorgeous! They’ll suggest just a few, easy-to-do, last minute fixes to make sure your presentation looks its best. No preregistration required for this drop-in session. Just bring your laptop with the slide deck loaded.

The DVR FIG has really grown since its inception a year ago. I’d love to tell you more about it! Come and find me at the conference!
